Nom Nom Review
FOOD AND DRINKS: The Red Chicken Pattaya is a good option to start your meal with. The hint of lemon grass adds a refreshing, tangy flavour to the dish. For vegetarians, the Agedashi Tofu is a necessity. Soft and moist, this meltin- your mouth dish is sure to impress. The Burmese Khao Suey is Nom Nom’s most prized dish. Fresh noodles in a bowl with a rich, coconut-based curry served separately, this one’s a winner for both meat-eaters and vegetarians. The one disappointment on the menu is the Thai Iced Tea. Try it only if you can handle a really potent dose of cardamom.
OVERALL IMPRESSION: A place for good quality Asian food. If you’re looking to save some bucks, skip the dessert and drinks and experiment with the starters instead.
Suprisingly ........ Light on Wallet..
I am surprised at the average rating for this place so far I went there last weekend on the recommendation of a friend - and I was very pleasantly surprised The ambiance of the place is very chic - as has been described by people below. Service was polite and attentive. We were a group of 4 people - the waiters were patient enough to let everyone make up their minds individually about their order And the food that arrived was damn good. The menu had a quite a bit of Chinese I think, for a South East Asian place. But it made up for it in taste - every dish that we ordered turned out quite good. And the price, for Andheri place was really sensible. They were a bit deficient on the dessert menu - could have done with a bit more choice. But due credit to them, both the desserts we tried were just as yummy as the food Doesn't hurt that they have a lot of south east Asian options as well :
An array of Thai, Burmese, Indonesian, Japanese, Singaporean, Malaysian delights at Nom Nom.
